CASS (Catholic Asian Students’ Society)
Disregard the asian bit, this organisation welcomes everyone. It is mainly catered for university students and is available across the four main universities: Sydney University, Macquarie University, University Technology Sydney, University of New South Wales.
If you are a university student from any university or a person young at heart, you are very welcome to join. (I’ve known students from ACU and UWS that would come to the faith sharings so don’t feel that it does not include you!).
Some of the activities that CASS gets up to is:
Faith Sharing which is available on each university campus.
Retreat which brings all the university groups together.
Soup Kitchen and Nursing home visits.
Pray and Play
Not just praise (praise and worship and interactive games)
Walkathon – where the universities come together to raise money.
Annual Dinner
This is a society that is great for allowing one to develop fellowship with other university students, to develop your faith through faith sharing and to take part in a retreat, to be able to take part in community service activities.
